I am not the bride, I am the maid of honor and I want to make this planning period as easy and fun for my best friend as possible. But i have NO IDEA where to begin ! Should she pick a date first and we go from there or maybe pick a place for the ceremony and expand from that. Maybe start with a color scheme and run with that..? There are just so many elements and things to cordinate I would think it would make it easier to have a basic order to get things rolling.. any ideas ?
She should have an "ideal date" in mind. If she isn't tied to a certain date, this will be best for planning. IF she has her heart set on certain vendors not being tied to a set date should help ensure she can select the vendors she wants. Keep in mind, most vendors are picked around 1 year in advance (or for summer months even more).
I would say pick vendors in this order:
- Church
These items are from most expensive to least expensive...want to ensure you have the most expensive vendors knocked out first.
